Zach has been a real estate developer in North Chicagoland for more than 30 years. The manager of every Nea Maya construction project, he has hands-on experience in plumbing, carpentry, bricking laying, concrete, and custom furniture, and has worked in such markets as Skokie, Morton Grove, Niles, and Chicago’s northern neighborhoods.

Aida is a 15-year veteran in residential real estate, and is an award-winning interior designer. Along with handling the sale of Nea Maya’s real estate developments, she also manages the firm’s 5,000-square-foot showroom in Morton Grove, and assists clients in creating dream kitchens and bathrooms. Aida received a prestigious award from the Crystal cabinet line for her kitchen designs.

Zach Joseph

You could say that Zach was born to be a real estate developer. Hailing from a three-generation family of craftsman and developers, Zach was visiting his father’s job sites by the time he was 11, studying blueprints when he was 12, and building custom-made furniture, cabinets, and doors at 13.  By 21 he was buying and rehabbing properties throughout Chicago-land and soon after buying land to develop his own projects.

Zach oversees all of NeaMaya’s construction projects with uncommon mastery. From plumbing and carpentry, to brick laying and concrete, there’s no area of the construction process in which Zach lacks hands-on expertise.  And because he has such an intimate knowledge of every trade, Zach is able to approach each job with a perspective that few contractors can match. It’s no surprise that Zach operates under the following motto: “Be the best at what you do; anything less is not good enough.”

Zach resides in Glenview with Aida and their children; and when he’s not spending time overseeing a construction job, he’s traveling. A true explorer, Zach has journeyed to Brazil, Italy, France, Amsterdam, Austria, and Mexico. He and Aida gain inspiration for their work from all of these locales.

Aida Joseph

A multi-talented professional with extensive experience in customer service, Aida manages not only NeaMaya’s brokerage business, but also heads the day-to-day office operation, the drafting and negotiating of contracts with clients, vendors and sub-contractors, and provides patient and astute guidance in home design finishes.

A 15-year veteran in residential real estate, Aida brings a unique level of diligence to her brokerage business. She works with both buyers and sellers, applying honesty, integrity, ethics and efficiency to every transaction. She handles single-family homes, condos, and investment properties throughout the North Shore.

Aida resides in Glenview with her husband, Zach, and their three children, Maya (the inspiration for NeaMaya’s name), Peter and Paul. A gourmand in every sense of the word, Aida loves to cook and explore Chicago’s vast offering of restaurants with Zach.

Ben I. Sloan

Ben I. Sloan is a construction professional with considerable experience in high-rise, low-rise, and tenant building projects. In addition to his work for Chody Real Estate, which included a $2.3-million strip center in Chicago, Sloan was a project director for Novak Construction for 20 years, where his clients included Jewel, Whole Foods, Dominick’s, and Schnucks.
